Live and act

Johannes Roloff started playing the piano at the age of seven. He took cello lessons from 1970 to 1975 and studied piano from 1977 to 1983 in Berlin and Munich. Concert tours have taken him to various cities in the Federal Republic of Germany and the GDR, to Japan, Canada and the Canary Islands. In addition to his pianistic activity, he composed theater and film music, e.g. B. for Witold Gombrowicz's “Operetta” (performed in the summer of 1987 in the Hebbel Theater in Berlin ) and for the cartoon “The Little Prince”, which was broadcast in December 1990 by ZDF. In April 1988 he played Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra in the Philharmonie. In January 1989, Roloff made a solo debut in the Philharmonic Chamber Music Hall with works by Bach , Berg , Weber and Prokofiev .

He then became known as the musical director and arranger of the comedy trio Geschwister Pfister , with whom he has been working since 1991. Roloff arranged the music for the operetta Im Weißen Rößl for the Berlin production by Christoph Marti in the Bar Every Vernunft . The arrangement was recognized as a short version by the Felix Bloch Erben publishing house.

In the 2009/10 season he is the musical director of the Swiss musical Bibi Balù at the St. Gallen Theater , in which Tobias Bonn ( Toni Pfister ) and Christoph Marti ( Ursli Pfister ) also participate.
