Stefan Huber (director)
Stefan Huber (born October 22, 1960 in Zurich ) is a Swiss director and actor .
life and career
Huber initially trained as an actor at the University of Music and Theater in Bern . He was engaged at the Stadttheater Aachen , where he a. a. as Oswald in Ghosts of Ibsen and as Hamlet by Shakespeare was seen.
He then took part in the musical productions Les Misérables and Elisabeth in Vienna and founded the Tietzes singing group, with whom he also appeared on television.
Huber had already started directing during his time as an actor in Aachen. In recent years he has built a reputation as a specialist in musicals and musical programs. He has staged musical classics such as Cabaret , West Side Story , La Cage aux Folles , Anatevka , Anything Goes or Evita on numerous stages in Germany, Austria and Switzerland , but also German-language premieres such as Crazy for You or world premieres such as Heidi - Das Musical und Gotthelf - the musical .
Huber also worked for Swiss television . He directed numerous episodes of the series Fascht e Familie , Mannezimmer and Ready Lustig .
