Maag Hall

The MAAG Halle (formerly Maag Music Hall ) is a theater and event hall in the Swiss city ​​of Zurich .

The largest hall of the theater has 930 seats on a raised construction, a stage (12 m × 12 m) and two large side stages. The foyer is 500 m² and can be used for various events. The MAAG Halle was the venue for various concerts and musicals such as Ewigi Liebi (2007/2008) or Mein Name ist Eugen (2016). Some shows of the TV programs MusicStar and The greatest Swiss talents of Swiss television were broadcast from the MAAG Halle (at that time still Maag Music Hall ).

The building complex was the location of Gebr. Maag Maschinenfabrik AG until 2001 . The buildings on the Maag site are listed under “Other monuments” on the list of cultural assets in Zurich / District 5 .

The Maag area can be reached with lines from the Zurich Transport Authority and via the Hardbrücke S-Bahn station . There is also a public parking garage in the immediate vicinity of the site.
