Dirk Reichardt (* 9. September 1964 in Oldenburg in Holstein ) is a German composer , sound designer, Jingle - Producer and Music Supervisor.

Life

Dirk Reichardt discovered his love for the piano at the age of six . After several years of instrumental training, self-taught drumming and numerous youthful band projects, Reichardt first worked as a keyboard player , recording studio assistant and then from 1987 as an arranger in a recording studio in Hamburg . As a studio keyboarder he was then z. B. for Dieter Bohlen , Blue System , Bonnie Tyler , Dionne Warwick , Roy Black , Fun Factory and Nana. Dirk Reichardt also co-produced albums by Danny Shogger and David Parker (Taco). At the same time he worked as a freelance producer for radio stations in Germany and Europe.

In 1998 Dirk Reichardt founded the music production company jamXmusic GmbH, with which he has meanwhile produced over 100 jingle package productions for 75 radio stations in Europe and the USA. Today jamXmusic is one of the most successful German production companies in this segment . In 2004 Dirk Reichardt drew attention to himself as a composer . Together with his co-composers Stefan Hansen and Max Berghaus , Reichardt was awarded the German Film Prize in Gold for the best film music for the film music for peas at half past five.

In the following years a permanent connection to Til Schweiger develops , for whom Reichardt u. a. contributed the film music to the hits Barfuss , Keinohrhasen and Zweiohrküken . The Keinohrhasen soundtrack was the first and so far only German film soundtrack to achieve platinum status for over 200,000 CDs sold in Germany. Reichardt's most successful and popular works include his piano compositions A rainy day in Vancouver and Emma / Leila's Theme.

In 2010, Dirk Reichardt and Til Schweiger founded the record label barefoot music for the release of future film soundtracks and the development of their own solo artist themes. In 2011 Dirk Reichardt was a member of the jury for the German Music Author Award.
