Daniel William Wood Jr. (born May 14, 1969 in Boston , Massachusetts ) is an American singer , songwriter and record producer . He is a member of the New Kids on the Block group .

After separating the New Kids on the Block, he decided to start a solo career. He released his first solo album Second Face on July 22, 2003. All songs were produced by him and his friend Pete Masitti.

Wood is divorced from Patricia Alfaro and has four children.
