Thomas Sonnenburg

Thomas Sonnenburg (born August 22, 1963 in Eisenhüttenstadt ) is a German social worker and former street worker .

After working as an electrician for three years , he studied cultural studies in Meißen . His professional career led him to work as an educational advisor at the Berlin Working Group for Political Education from 1993 to 2007 and then to social work in Berlin-Pankow .

From 1996 to 2003, he also studied part-time studies at the Technical University of Berlin and in 2003 received his diploma in educational sciences / social pedagogy.

He has two children.

Television appearances

He became known through the docu-soap broadcast by RTL Die Ausreißer - The way back , social coaching, which was very controversial in public. Nevertheless, the series received the German Television Award 2008 in the category of best reality broadcast . In 2012 he was a supervising social worker to help parents and their children in the RTL documentary Teenies on Party Vacation - Parents undercover! to confront. On November 19, 2014, Sonnenburg was a guest on the show Mario Barth covers! .
