Gertrud Eysoldt Ring

The Gertrud-Eysoldt-Ring is a theater prize awarded annually since 1986 in memory of Gertrud Eysoldt , which the city of Bensheim awards together with the German Academy of Performing Arts for outstanding acting performances. It is awarded in the spring of the following year. The prize was donated by the theater critic Wilhelm Ringelband and is endowed with 10,000 euros. On the occasion of the awarding of the Gertrud-Eysoldt-Ring, the Kurt-Hübner-Director's Award is also awarded.
