Dejan Dukovski

Dejan Dukovski ( Macedonian Дејан Дуковски ; * 1969 in Skopje , SR Macedonia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Macedonian author who writes plays and screenplays for films.

Life

Dukovski completed his studies in philosophy and theater studies at the University of Skopje and then worked at the Macedonian Radio and Television Corporation from 1990 to 1993. Since 1993 he has taught screenwriting for theater and film, from 1996 he was a lecturer in dramaturgy and in 1998 he became he professor at the Academy of Theater and Film Skopje in the field of film and television.

He lives in Skopje and Hamburg.

  • 1993: Svetlo sivo
  • 1998: Bure baruta , German title: The powder keg , international title: Cabaret Balkan , French: Baril de poudre . The screenplay is based on Dukovski's play from 1996 of the same title.
  • 2002: Kako los son , co-authors: Antonio Mitrikeski and Daniela Mitrikeska; English title: As a Bad Dream . The film, produced in Skopje in 2003, was based on a play by Dukovski entitled Who the Fuck started all this? . The French title is: Qel est l'enfoiré qui a commencé le premier?
  • 2002: Zvenenje v glavi , the screenplay of 2003 in Slovenia produced film with the English title Head Noise is a novel by Drago Jančar basis.
