Wiebke Puls (born December 12, 1973 in Husum ) is a German actress and singer .

Life

From 1993 to 1997 Wiebke Puls completed her training at the drama school of the Berlin University of the Arts . From 1997 to 1999 she was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Hanover Theater ; In the 2000/2001 season she moved to the Deutsche Schauspielhaus in Hamburg . She became known through the role of Brünhild at the Nibelungen Festival in 2003 and 2004 in Worms . Wiebke Puls has been part of the Münchner Kammerspiele ensemble since the 2005/2006 season .

Puls received several awards for her theater work. In 2003 she was awarded the Boy Gobert Prize for special artistic achievements. In 2005 she received the Alfred Kerr Actor Award and was named Actress of the Year by Theater heute magazine . In 2008 she received the sponsorship award of the Münchner Kammerspiele .

In addition to her regular theater engagements, her work in television and cinema films takes up less space. She starred in the television films Mein old Freund Fritz (2007) and Gier (2010) under the direction of Dieter Wedel . She had her first major role in a movie as Bhagwan supporter Chandra in Marcus H. Rosenmüller's comedy Summer in Orange from 2011. In Jan Fehse's two-person chamber play Jasmin (2011) she was seen as a psychiatrist in dialogue with a child murderer. On the stage of the Münchner Kammerspiele she was most recently in “Orpheus descends” (2012), “Onkel Wanja” (2013), “The silent girl” (2014), “ The maids ” (2014), and “Nothing from You on Earth ”(2015). In the 2016/2017 season she is u. a. to be seen in “América” by Stefan Pucher and “Point Of No Return” by Yael Ronen.
