Jakob Elsenwenger

Jakob Elsenwenger (* 1992 in Salzburg ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

Jakob Elsenwenger grew up near Salzburg. At the age of seven he went to audition for the theater children of the Salzburg Advent, where he was a member of the ensemble until 2011. He also played in the theater group TriLenz . At 19, he started an acting training at the Schauspielhaus Salzburg , among other things, he was there in 2013 in Tintenblut , 2014 in Saint Joan of the Stockyards and The Wunschpunsch , 2015 SonderBar in Little Brother , and as Maik in Tschick to see. From September 2014 he starred in The Incredible Tragedy of Richard III. at Globe Vienna founded by Michael Niavarani .

Theater of Youth

At the Theater der Jugend he played the title role in Human being Parzival in the 2015/16 season , and he also played the role of Ste in the stage version of Beautiful Thing by Jonathan Harvey. In the 2016/17 season he was seen at the Theater der Jugend in the title role in the stage version of Patricia Highsmith's novel The Talented Mr. Ripley and as Peter Pan . In the 2017/18 season he was at the Theater der Jugend in the title role of The Fantastic Mr. Fox and as Hamlet on stage, in the 2018/19 season as Raskolnikow in Schuld und Atonement and as a bald person in Ronja the robber's daughter and in the title role of Robin Hood by Thomas Birkmeir .

Theater in the Josefstadt

Since the 2019/20 season he has been part of the ensemble at the Theater in der Josefstadt . In the world premiere of the stage version of the movie Die Migrantigen by Arman T. Riahi , Aleksandar Petrović and Faris Endris Rahoma at the Wiener Kammerspiele in September 2019, he took on the role of Marko Bilic / Tito.
