Rainer Galke (born September 8, 1971 in Meerbusch ) is a German actor .

Career

After training as an actor at the Folkwang University in Essen (1993-1997), he made his debut at the Moerser Schlosstheater , where he performed until 1999. Further stations were the Dortmund Theater (1999–2002) and the Freiburg Theater . Galke has been a member of the ensemble at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus since the 2006/2007 season . Since the 2015/16 season he has been a member of the ensemble at the Volkstheater Wien . In addition to his work as a theater actor, he also appears in television productions, for example in the series Tatort and Lindenstrasse . In the film Frau Müller has to go! von Sönke Wortmann (2015) he played a school janitor.
