Christina Charyisky
Christina Bona Maria Tscharyiski (* 1988 in Vienna ) is an Austrian theater director .
Life
Tscharyiski studied theater, film and media studies as well as sociology at the University of Vienna and gained practical experience as an assistant director in numerous theater and opera productions, including at the Rabenhoftheater , the Theater in der Josefstadt , the Grand Théâtre de Genève , the Lower Austria State Theater , the Berliner Ensemble , at the Salzburg Festival and at the Burgtheater . She worked with, among others, Dimiter Gotscheff and Frank Castorf .
Tscharyiski has been working as a director since the 2013/14 season. Your staging Yes eh! based on a text by Stefanie Sargnagel was nominated for the Nestroy Prize in 2018 and received the “Radikal Jung 2018” prize, awarded by the Volkstheater Munich . In 2020 she staged Sargnagel's text Am Wiesnrand there.
