Gerald Ralf Votava (born July 8, 1970 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor , musician , author and cabaret artist .

Life

Gerald Votava was born in Vienna Dornbach (17th district) as the son of the then very famous presenter Kurt Votava . He grew up with his mother and only met his father when he was 18 years old. At the age of ten he was enrolled by his mother in the boarding school and the humanistic grammar school in the college in Kalksburg , where he passed the Matura . He studied at the University of Vienna first Jus , then psychology without completing the study. He has been a radio presenter, cabaret artist and actor since 1994. Since 2009, Votava has devoted himself increasingly to acting and music.
