Alexander Pschill

Alexander Pschill (born June 13, 1970 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor who gained notoriety beyond Austria with the lead role in Kommissar Rex .

Life

Alexander Pschill graduated from the American International School in Vienna and studied from 1989 to 1993 at the Cornish College of the Arts Professional Acting Conservatory in Seattle / Washington (USA). His television career began with the lead role in Peter Patzak's TV production in 1945 . He also starred in The Baby Maker's Son and Glück auf Raten (both 1995). From 2000 he is part of the cast of the series Julia - An Unusual Woman . After an episode role (Seidl) in 1995 in the episode Blutspuren, Alexander Pschill alias Marc Hoffmann took on the lead role in 2002 alongside Elke Winkens in the series Kommissar Rex .

Alexander Pschill is also a stage actor. He played at the Reichenau Festival, the Theater Drachengasse Vienna, the Theater der Jugend Vienna, the Schloßparktheater Berlin, the Renaissance Theater Vienna and the Theater Summer Haag. In the current season he plays in the Theater in der Josefstadt and in the Wiener Kammerspiele in "Das Interview" and in the revival of "Ladies Night".

Pschill is co-founder and artistic director of the "Bronski & Grünberg" theater in Vienna.
