Tonio Arango

Tonio Arango (born January 31, 1963 in Berlin ) is a German actor .

Life

Arango was born the son of a German and a Colombian and grew up with his brother Sascha in Berlin-Wilmersdorf . Although he left the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, which he attended from 1986 to 1990, without a degree, he played and plays at various renowned theaters in Hamburg, Bochum, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Zurich and Vienna.

In Oskar Roehler's film Die Unberührbare , Arango played alongside Hannelore Elsner in the role of Ronald in 2000 . In 2007 he was first noticed by a large audience in the role of Nazi lawyer Heinrich Graf von Gernstorff alongside Maria Furtwängler in the two-part TV series Die Flucht .
