Mario Göpfert

Mario Göpfert (born April 5, 1957 in Dresden ) is a German children's book author.

He learned the profession of typesetter and worked as a butcher and offset copier in the graphic trade, but also took part in the poetry seminar . 1981–1982 he was a director's assistant at the DEFA feature film studio and then studied at the Literature Institute in Leipzig . 1985–1991 he was a freelance author and wrote numerous radio plays (including The Stranger Child by ETA Hoffmann ). The play Fairy Tales from the Good Wolf was performed at the Young Generation Theater and broadcast in two parts on East German television at Easter 1991 . From 1991 to 1995 he had various ABM positions in culture and public relations and has been a freelance writer again since then. He wrote numerous radio play stories for the broadcast ear bear .
