No Sex is a German love film by director Josh Broecker from 1999. Kai Scheve embodies the architecture student Paul Liebermann in the main role .
action
For the young architecture student Paul, all sorts of things come together at the most inopportune time: Not only does his girlfriend leave him, his first house he designed himself collapses, and as a result he loses his job in the architecture office, where his father is the boss . Because even this is not enough for his personal bad luck, Paul also realizes that he is sexually impotent.
The tide seems to be turning for Paul when, in an unsuccessful attempt to find a new girlfriend, he encounters the life-affirming waitress Isabell. She got pregnant unintentionally and has set herself the goal of running her own restaurant. When she separated from the future father of her child, she moved in with Paul and thus the two lay the foundation for a mutual love relationship, which, however, was put to the test against the background of Paul's impotence.
First broadcast
No Sex was first broadcast on October 18, 1999 on ZDF .

Reviews
The film reviews are mixed. TV Spielfilm, for example, has only a few disappointing words left for the production, because the summary of the program magazine is: "Impotent comedy, messed up Viagra-Zote".
The criticism of the television magazine Prisma is somewhat more benevolent. There one judges: "Despite the rather improbable story, this love story is quite turbulent and lively".
The lexicon of international films states: "A comedic love story about the problem of impotence, the focus of which is of course overcoming this handicap".
