history

A church was mentioned in a document around 1130. The Gothic church was redesigned in Baroque style in 1742.

architecture

The Gothic church building has tuff brickwork . A slightly drawn-in two-bay choir closes the single-nave five-bay nave with a three-eighth end. The Gothic vaults in the nave and choir were given a Baroque style and covered with delicate ribbon and lattice work by Johann Michael Vierthaler (1742). The frescoes are spoiled by the renovation. The Gothic south portal has a star rib vaulted porch. The north portal is Gothic. The three-axis west gallery is arched under star ribs. In the east of the Langhausjoch, the wall was opened to the south to create a chapel. The sacristy has a ribbed vault and a door with Gothic fittings. After a fire (1653), the west tower was transferred to an eight-sided upper floor and received an onion helmet.

The cemetery wall has a wedge cover.
