The parish church of St. Maximilian was first mentioned in a document around 1130. Originally built as a Gothic tuff stone building, it was converted to Baroque style in 1742. The nave is single-nave and five-bay, the two-bay choir has a 5/8 end. The entire ceiling was furnished with delicate ribbon and lattice stucco work by Johann Michael Vierthaler . The west tower has been showing itself since 1653 with a transfer to the octagon and an onion helmet. The sculptures on the high altar were made by Martin and Michael Zürn in 1645; the group of crosses in the choir is also attributed to the Zürn workshop. The cemetery wall has a wedge cover.
