The parish church has two titular saints , St. Simon and St. Jude . The Gothic two-aisled hall church dates from the beginning of the 16th century, the nave is 4½-yoke and vaulted with mesh ribs. The church has a so-called Wechselberg figuration, i.e. an almost equally wide, two-bay ribbed vaulted choir with a 5/8 end from 1520. The tower on the west side has a mighty construction, with an eight-sided bell chamber and a knob-shaped helmet from the 19th century. The high altar is neo-Gothic, the pulpit and side altars are from the first quarter of the 18th century. A late baroque wooden statue, the Maria Immaculata, is probably by Franz Schwanthaler. The epitaphs are from the 16th and 17th centuries.

Title saints, Simon Peter and Paulus of Tarsus , the first documentary mention took place in 1070. Due to the terrain, the construction of a lower church was necessary, the current sacred building is therefore a Gothic double church, built in the second half of the 15th century. The lower church is a wide-span two-aisled hall church with a three-bay, star-rib vaulted nave, the choir has a 5/8 end. The upper church is single-nave, three-bay and vaulted with mesh ribs, the choir has a 3/8 end. The mighty west tower has a baroque tower with beveled corners, it was changed in a neo-Gothic style and given a new pointed helmet. In the upper church is the altar from 1717 and with sculptures by Ferdinand Oxner. The high altar of the lower church is dated to 1647 and comes from the carpenter Sebastian Dusler and the sculptor Balthasar Mayr from Burghausen.
