Dyrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . It was created on June 1, 1989 by splitting off from Sanderum Sogn , which until 1970 belonged to Harde Odense Herred in what was then Odense Office , then to Odense Municipality in Fyns Office . In the course of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 , the municipality and thus also the young parish became part of the Syddanmark region .
Of the 180,302 inhabitants of Odense, 4,064 live in the parish of Dyrup (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Dyrup Kirke".
Neighboring communities in the northeast are the "Muttersogn" Sanderum Sogn and Dalum Sogn , in the east Hjallese Sogn , in the southeast Stenløse Sogn , in the southwest Bellinge Sogn and in the northwest Ubberud Sogn .
