Højby Kirke

Højby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Åsum Herred in what was then Odense Office , then to Odense Municipality in Fyns Office , which became part of the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of local government reform .

Of the 180,302 inhabitants of Odense, 4,776 live in the parish of Højby (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Højby Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are in the north-west Stenløse Sogn , in the north Hjallese Sogn and Tornbjerg Sogn and in the east Allerup Sogn , furthermore in the neighboring Faaborg-Midtfyn municipality in the south-east Sønder Nærå Sogn , in the south Årslev Sogn and in the south-west Nørre Lyndelse Sogn .
