Årslev Kirke

Årslev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Vindinge Herred in what was then Svendborg Amt , then to Årslev Municipality in Fyns Amt , which was merged into Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

Of the 4015 inhabitants of Årslev, 1860 live in the parish of the same name (as of January 1, 2020).

The Årslev Kirke church is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Sønder Nærå Sogn in the east, Sønder Højrup Sogn in the south and Nørre Lyndelse Sogn in the west , and Højby Sogn in the north, neighboring Odense municipality .
