Svanninge Kirke

Svanninge Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Sallinge Herred in what was then Svendborg Amt , then to Faaborg Municipality in Fyns Amt , which was merged into Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

1823 inhabitants live in the parish, 218 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish are the churches "Svanninge Kirke" and "Falsled Filial Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are Håstrup Sogn in the north, Øster Hæsinge Sogn in the north-east, Brahetrolleborg Sogn in the east, Fåborg Sogn in the south and Horne Sogn in the south-west , and Jordløse Sogn in the north-west neighboring Assens municipality .
