Sønder Broby Kirke

Sønder Broby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Sallinge Herred in what was then Svendborg Amt , then to Broby Kommune in Fyns Amt , which was merged into Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality in the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

1435 inhabitants live in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Sønder Broby Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring municipalities are Nørre Broby Sogn and Vejle Sogn in the north, Allested Sogn and Heden Sogn in the east, Hillerslev Sogn and Sandholts Lyndelse Sogn in the south-east and Vester Hæsinge Sogn in the south , and Jordløse Sogn and Hårby Sogn in the neighboring Assens municipality to the west .
