Gislev Kirke

Gislev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Gudme Herred in what was then Svendborg Amt , then to Ryslinge Kommune in Fyns Amt , which was merged into Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the local government reform on January 1, 2007 .

2097 inhabitants live in the parish, 1267 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Gislev Kirke".

Neighboring municipalities are in the southwest Kværndrup Sogn and in the northwest Ryslinge Sogn , further in the northeast neighboring Nyborg municipality in the north Ellested Sogn , in the northeast Ørbæk Sogn and in the east Svindinge Sogn and in the southeastern Svendborg municipality Gudbjerg Sogn .
