Until December 2006, Ryslinge Kommune was a Danish municipality on the island of Fyn in what was then Fyns Amt . Since January 2007 it has been part of the newly formed Faaborg-Midtfyn municipality together with the municipalities of Broby , Faaborg , ringen and Årslev .

Ryslinge municipality was created in the course of the administrative reform of 1970 and included the following Sogn :

• Ryslinge Sogn (rural community Ryslinge)
• Gislev Sogn (rural municipality Gislev-Ellested ; Ellested Sogn came to Ørbæk municipality )
• Kværndrup Sogn (rural municipality Kværndrup)
