Until December 2006, Vissenbjerg Kommune was a Danish municipality in what was then Fyns Amt in the west of the island of Funen . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Assens municipality together with the old Assens municipality , Glamsbjerg municipality , Haarby municipality , Tommerup municipality and Aarup municipality .
