Until December 2006, Otterup Kommune was a Danish municipality in the north of the island of Funen in what was then Fyns Amt . Since January 2007 it has been part of the newly formed Nordfyns municipality together with the municipalities of Bogense and Søndersø .

Otterup Municipality was created as part of the administrative reform of 1970 and comprised the following Sogn :

• Otterup Sogn (rural municipality Otterup)
• Hjadstrup Sogn (rural municipality Hjadstrup)
• Krogsbølle Sogn (rural municipality Krogsbølle)
• Lunde Sogn (rural community Lunde)
• Norup Sogn (rural municipality of Norup)
• Nørre Næraa Sogn and Bederslev Sogn (rural municipality of Nørre Næraa-Bederslev )
• Skeby Sogn (rural municipality Skeby)
• Uggerslev Sogn and Nørre Højrup Sogn (rural municipality Uggerslev-Nørre Højrup )
• Østrup Sogn (rural municipality Østrup)
