Gudme Kommune was a Danish municipality in what was then Fyns Amt in the southeast of the island of Funen until December 2006 . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Svendborg Municipality together with the "old" Svendborg Municipality and Egebjerg Municipality .
Gudme Kommune was created in the course of the Danish administrative reform of 1970 and comprised the following Sogn in the Harde Gudme Herred :
- Gudme Sogn and Brudager Sogn (rural community Gudme-Brudager )
- Gudbjerg Sogn (rural municipality Gudbjerg)
- Hesselager Sogn (rural community Hesselager)
- Oure Sogn and Vejstrup Sogn (rural municipality Oure-Vejstrup )
