Hans Gustaf von Blixen-Finecke (born July 25, 1886 in Näsbyholm Castle near Trelleborg , † September 26, 1917 in Malmslätt , Linköping ) was a Swedish dressage rider and fighter pilot . He was the father of Hans von Blixen-Finecke junior and the twin brother of Bror von Blixen-Finecke .

Blixen-Finecke was a lieutenant in the Dragoons regiment of Skåne . At the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912 he won the bronze medal in the individual dressage competition with his horse Maggie . In 1915 he took flight lessons and was the 23rd Swede to receive the flight diploma from the Royal Swedish Aeroclub. He was killed when his reconnaissance plane caught fire in the air and crashed.
