Gunnar Gíslason (born January 4, 1961 in Akureyri ) is a former Icelandic football player who played for VfL Osnabrück during his career in Iceland , Sweden and Norway , but also for a year in Germany . He is also 50 times national team.

career

Gunnar, who was used in defensive midfield and defense, began his footballer career at the Icelandic club KA Akureyri . In 1983 he moved to VfL Osnabrück , in the 2nd Bundesliga in Germany. There Gunnar Gislason did not get a chance, but only played 5 games. In addition, the Osnabrück team, which was significantly younger at the time, was relegated. Gislason then moved back to Iceland , to KR Reykjavík . A move to Norway followed, to FK Moss . There he also only gave one guest appearance and finally went to the Swedish club BK Häcken . In 1992 he returned to KR Reykjavík and then moved back to BK Häcken after one season. There he ended his career in 1993.
