Rings Kirke

Rings Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Gudme Herred in what was then Svendborg Amt , then to rings municipality in Fyns Amt , which was merged into Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality in the Syddanmark region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

7,229 inhabitants live in the parish, 6,179 of them in the former community center rings (as of January 1, 2020).

In the parish are the churches "Rings Kirke" and "Kellerupkirken" (the latter in the rings state prison ).

Neighboring communities are Sønder Højrup Sogn in the north, Søllinge Sogn in the northeast, Ryslinge Sogn in the east, Kværndrup Sogn in the south, Herringe Sogn in the south-west and Espe Sogn and Gestelev Sogn in the west .
