The church in rings |
Rings is a city on the Danish island of Funen . It has belonged to the Faaborg-Midtfyn municipality since the 2007 municipal reform . Before that, rings was the capital of the rings commune . The place is about 22 kilometers north of Svendborg and about 20 kilometers south of Odense .
The Midtfyns Festival was held in the small town from 1976 to 2003 . In its heyday in the 1980s, the festival was one of the largest festivals in Northern Europe.
