Meine Freiheit is the fifth studio album by Peter Maffay .
After Peter Maffay founded his own music publisher and separated from his previous production partners in 1974, he brought out Meine Freiheit in 1975 . He was also engaged to Petra Küfner, whom he married in 1975. After the single And It Was Sommer , the album Meine Freiheit, produced with Joachim Heider , followed . The cover shows Maffay riding a motorcycle. In 1972 he had a serious motorcycle accident in which he was seriously injured.

Two singles were released from the album, both of which made it into the German single charts: Then come to me (45th place) and Josie (9th place).
