The 14th studio album by German singer Peter Maffay is not too far . The album was released in 1989 by Teldec . For the time being it was the last of seven number one studio albums in Germany in a row.

Emergence

Maffay wrote the music for many of the songs himself, and on the lyrics he worked with Burkhard Brozat and Paul Buckowski . Pop singer Roland Kaiser also worked under the pseudonym Wolf Wedding and wrote the five titles No way too far, It's time, get up, let yourself go and I thank you for that. In Deep also had Chris Thompson involved. In contrast to the previous double album Lange Schatten , Maffay took a more reduced approach to the performers: Bertram Engel took over the drums, percussion and background vocals , the guitar Carl Carlton and Andreas Becker as well as Maffay himself, Becker played keyboards for two pieces and Jean-Jacques Kravetz for Tiefer .
