This discography is an overview of published sound recordings of the German pop-rock - musician Peter Maffay . According to the sources, he has sold more than 40 million phonograms in his career, more than 15.4 million of them in his home country alone, making Maffay one of the performers with the highest number of phonograms sold in Germany . Maffay's most commercially successful release is the eleventh studio album Revanche with around one million units sold, making it one of the best-selling albums in Germany since 1975. With 19 number one albums, he holds the record in the German album charts .
