List of number one hits in Germany (2017)

This is a list of the number one hits in Germany in 2017. The single and album charts are compiled by GfK Entertainment on a weekly basis. They take into account the sales of phonograms and downloads as well as paid streaming .

There were eight different number one hits this year, as few as the last one in 1992 . Ed Sheeran was listed at the top with two different titles for 19 weeks, making him the artist with the most number 1 weeks in a year. He thus discontinued the Boney M. group brand from 1978 .

At 17 weeks at the top of the charts, it was next to Boney Ms Rivers of Babylon the most successful number one hit in the history of the official German charts.
