After numerous trips through Europe, Poisel met his future producer Frank Pilsl in the summer of 2006, with whom he made the first demo recordings. The singer founded the label Elderberry Records. After a tour through German-speaking countries, Poisel worked on the production of his second studio album Bis nach Toulouse . It was released on August 27, 2010 and reached number eight on the German album charts. It was in the top 50 for eight weeks, surpassing the success of the debut album.
In 2011 Poisel contributed the previously unpublished ballad Eiserner Steg to the soundtrack of Matthias Schweighöfer's film What a Man , which was released in German cinemas on August 25, 2011. The song was released as a single and initially reached number 21, Poisel's highest single position in the German single charts . After Eiserner Steg was sung by Benny Fiedler in the singing casting show The Voice of Germany in early January 2012 , the song rose from 100 to 4 in the German single charts in mid-January 2012. In August 2012 Poisel released the live album Projekt Seerosenteich , on which he reinterpreted 19 of his songs with string quartet and piano accompaniment. The album went straight to number one in the German album charts.
Also in August 2012, the single Wolke 7 was released , a duet by Poisel with Max Herre , which was placed in the top ten of the German single charts for five weeks.
