Jean-Michel Aweh (* 1992 in Kassel ) is a German pop singer . In December 2012 he won the sixth season of the German talent show Das Supertalent .

Life

In the sixth season of the casting show Das Supertalent, he sang the songs Halt dich an mich fest by Revolverheld , How should a person endure this by Philipp Poisel and Der Weg by Herbert Grönemeyer . In the final, he sang his own composition Raus aus dem Nebel in public for the first time , winning the competition ahead of second-placed Christian Bakotessa . Aweh played at parties, in department stores and in pubs. He composes and writes songs in German.

Aweh canceled his planned first concert tour in 2013 due to a lack of audience interest. His record company then decided that eight concerts should take place as planned. At the beginning of April, several concerts were canceled again.

Since 2016 he has been daring a new beginning, as he founded the trio Ohrwurm Circus with the Kassel producers Harald Dörr and Luka Basic .
