Burak Yeter
Burak Yeter (born May 5, 1982 in Trabzon ) is a Turkish DJ , musician and music producer .
Life
In an interview with the Turkish newspaper Hürriyet in April 2013, Burak Yeter stated that he was born on May 5, 1982 in Trabzon and grew up there until he was 13. On his own website, Amsterdam was named as his place of birth in August 2017 , and Trabzon in an earlier version.
In the interview he further stated that he moved to Samsun at the age of 13 and to Kayseri at the age of 15 because of his father, a civil engineer . when he was 16 years old he moved to Antalya . His mother is a housewife. He has two siblings.
Musical career
According to his own statements, he began playing the piano in 1987 and the guitar in 1990, and in 1999 he founded his first band called "Tatbikat". He studied sound engineering in London.
In 2004 he won the "MTV Burn & Best DJ Contest". From 2006 he produced remixes a. a. for Depeche Mode , Black Eyed Peas , Alicia Keys , Usher , Bruno Mars , Sam Smith and Beyoncé . His first own album "For Action" was released in 2005 by DSM (Dokuz Sekiz Müzik), where his second album "For Message Vol. 2" was also released in 2007. In 2009 he founded the label "Connection Records" with studios in Istanbul , Amsterdam and Los Angeles . Burak Yeter won prizes for his remixes in 2010 and 2012 at the "Kral TV Music Awards" of the Turkish TV station Kral TV . In 2012 his album "Blue" was released.
With his production Tuesday , which was created in collaboration with singer Danelle Sandoval, he achieved a Europe-wide chart hit at the end of 2016, which achieved gold status in Austria, Belgium, France, Italy and Poland. In Germany, the single came to number 2 in March 2017, in the Top 40 in Austria it reached this position in April. The song is a cover version of the song of the same name by Drake and ILoveMakonnen from 2014. He produced the title song My Life is going on , which is recorded in the Haus des Geldes series .
