This list contains all number one hits in Germany in 1960. There were seven number one singles that year.

Until the December 1960 issue of Musikmarkt, the charts always had the title of the previous month. The December 1960 edition contained the charts for November 1960. With the January 1961 edition, however, this was changed and the charts were named after the current month, i.e. January 1961. For this reason, the charts for December 1960 are missing.
