Club Honolulu

Club Honolulu was one of several pseudonyms for the hit duo and siblings Caterina Valente and Silvio Francesco in 1960 .

Caterina Valente and her brother had been making recordings together since 1956 . Under the pseudonym Club Honolulu they took first place in the German hit parade in September 1960 with Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Honolulu-Strand-Bikini , the German-language adaptation of the Brian Hyland hit Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini , which was already number one in the held the American charts and also reached the top 10 in Great Britain and Germany. The song came in the list of the best-selling hits of 1960 in Germany at number 27.

The siblings had numerous other joint successes under other project names as Club Indonesia , Club Italia , Club Argentina , Club Manhattan and Catrins Madison Club .
