No Night for Nobody is the third studio album by the Chemnitz band Kraftklub and was released on June 2, 2017 on the Vertigo and Universal labels . Stylistically, the album mixes the genres of indie rock and rap . Like its two predecessors, it reached number one on the German album charts .

title

The album title alludes to the album Keine Macht für Keine by the rock group Ton Steine ​​Scherben from 1972.

The album was produced by Kraftklub and the music producer Philipp Hoppen.

Cover design

The album cover is kept in red and shows two painted eyes, the lids of which are held open with matches. In the upper part of the picture there is the writing Kraftklub and at the bottom left the title No Night for Nobody in White.

No Night for Nobody entered the German charts at number 1 on June 9, 2017 and was at number 6 the following week. Overall, it stayed in the top 100 for 45 weeks. The album also reached the top 10 in Austria (2nd place) and Switzerland (7th place). It was ranked 24th in the 2017 annual German album charts.

The songs Dein Lied (DE # 56) and Fenster were released as singles in advance . In addition to music videos for the singles, a video for the song Sklave was also released .

Sales figures and awards
