The Großbach is a brook in the municipality of Prägraten am Großvenediger ( Lienz district ). The Großbach rises north of the Bachlenke and flows east of the Umbal Falls into the Isel .

The Großbach rises in several source arms between Kleinbachselten head , Gösleswand , Bach steering head , Gray wall and Reichenberger tip . A source arm is also the outflow of the Göslessee . The Großbach flows in a northerly direction through the Großbachtal, takes up the Rasbach on the left and then flows past the Großbachalm and Stürmitzalm. In the lower reaches of the Großbach falls steeply over the Großbachfall into the Virgen Valley and flows into the Isel on the right below the Umbal Falls .
