Normal way From the Neue Reichenberger Hütte over the east ridge

The Bachlenkenkopf is a 2759  m above sea level. A. high mountain peaks of the Rosenspitz group in the Venediger group in East Tyrol ( Austria ). It is located in the northwest of East Tyrol on the border between the communities of St. Jakob in Defereggen and Prägraten am Großvenediger and is considered the mountain hut of the Neue Reichenberger Hütte .

The Bachlenkenkopf is the second lowest peak in the Rosenspitz range. It is located in the extreme south-east of the mountain ridge and consists of the main or western summit and the slightly lower eastern summit. The broad, green hilltop is located northwest of the Neue Reichenberger Hütte between the Bachlenke ( 2608  m above sea level ) in the west and the Gray Wall ( 2816  m above sea level ) in the east. The Bachlenke separates the Bachlenkenkopf from the Gösleswand ( 2912  m above sea level ) and the Lasörling group to the east . The small Göslessee is also to the east of the Bachlenkenkopf. In the north of the Bachlenkenkopf is the Bachlenkenkar, in the south the Trojeraml valley extends.

Promotion opportunities

The normal route to the Bachlenkenkopf leads from the Neue Reichenberger Hütte to the Bachlenke and on the marked path over the east ridge to the summit. The summit cross of the Bachlenkenkopf is located on the slightly lower east summit.
