Lumby Kirke

Lumby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to Harde Lunde Herred in what was then Odense Office , then to Odense Municipality in Fyns Office , which became part of the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of local government reform .

4505 inhabitants live in the parish, 788 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020), the rest for the most part residents of Odense . In the parish is the church "Lumby Kirke".

The former church district Stige Kirkedistrikt in Lumby Sogn became an independent parish of Stige Sogn on October 1, 2010 with the abolition of the Danish church districts . The exact boundaries of the new parish have not yet been announced.

Neighboring municipalities (without taking into account the separation of the Stige Sogn) are Fredens Sogn in the east and south-east , Hans Tausens Sogn in the south and Næsby Sogn , Næsbyhoved-Broby Sogn and Allesø Sogn in the west , and Lunde Sogn and Østrup Sogn in the northern neighboring Nordfyns municipality .
