Odense Office (named after the city of Odense ) was one of the offices in Denmark at that time until the Danish municipal reform on April 1, 1970 . The office was created in 1793 (1809?) By amalgamating Odensegård Amt , Rugård Amt , Assens Amt and Hindsgavl Amt . In 1970 Odense Amt and Svendborg Amt were merged to form Fyns Amt , which became part of the 2007 local government reform in the Syddanmark region.
