Hjørring Office
Hjørring Amt (named after the town of Hjørring ) was one of the offices in Denmark from 1793 until the Danish municipal reform on April 1, 1970 , after which it became North Jylland with the Aalborg Amt and seven parishes of Vester Han Herred in the far northeast of Thisted Amt Office united.
Hjørring Amt consisted of seven Harden ( Danish : Herred ):
- Børglum Herred
- Dronninglund Herred
- Horns Herred
- Hvetbo Herred
- Læsø Herred
- Vennebjerg Herred
- Øster Han Herred
The following cities were in office (Danish: Købstad ):
- Hjørring
- Brønderslev
- Sæby
- Frederikshavn
- Skagen
