Ålborg Office
Ålborg Amt (also: Aalborg Amt ) (named after the city of Aalborg , 1948–1984: Ålborg) was one of the offices in Denmark at that time until the Danish municipal reform on April 1, 1970 . In the Middle Ages, the official area belonged to Syssel Himmersyssel , but Harde Kær Herred , north of the Limfjord , belonged to Vendsyssel ; In 1542 it became Aalborghus Len , and after various restructuring, the Aalborg Office was established in 1793. The towns ( Danish : Købstad ) Aalborg, Løgstør , Nibe and Nørresundby were in the administrative area .

- Års Herred
In the course of the municipal reform in 1970 Aalborg Amt, Hjørring Amt , seven parishes of Vester Van Herred in the far north-east of Thisted Amt and Hobro and some surrounding parishes from Randers Amt were merged to form Nordjyllands Amt .
